Star Wars: A New Hope 3D Movie Poster Sculpture Style D

Star Wars: A New Hope 3D Movie Poster Sculpture Style D

Code 3 Collectibles has unveiled one of the most eagerly anticipated additions to their well-received line of Star Wars Legendary Casts dimensional poster artwork. The Star Wars Style "D", considered by many to be one of the most inspired movie posters ever produced, was painted by Charles White III and Drew Struzan for the 1978 summer re-release of A New Hope. The signature "wild-post" look of this poster, which makes the artwork appear to be peeling away from a wooden fence, was added after it was found that not enough space had been reserved for the credit block on the original. As a result, this artwork is often referred to as the Star Wars "Circus Poster", rendered in the spirit of 1930's period illustration. It is rumored to be one of George Lucas' favorites. Code 3 has successfully reproduced this famous poster three-dimensionally for the first time, capturing the artists' original composition in exquisite detail. Each element has been replicated in cold cast resin, masterfully sculpted and hand painted. Luke and Leia appear to be blasting themselves right out of the image, while the landspeeder dramatically rockets toward the viewer below. Even the wood grain which flanks the artwork looks, and feels, like the real thing. Debuting exclusively at StarWarsShop.com, fans can now order this fantastic dimensional homage to one of the best movie posters of all time. Overall dimensions are 8.5"Wx10.5"Hx4.125"D.

Sculpted 3-D Mini Movie Poster: Revenge of the Sith

Sculpted 3-D Mini Movie Poster: Revenge of the Sith

Code 3's successful series of 3-D Star Wars posters finally gives center stage to the man whose place in the Star Wars universe gave rise to a saga. Darth Vader, whose path to the dark side is chronicled in Episodes I through VI, is the first to go solo with his very own poster art sculpture from Code 3. Inspired by one of the striking poster images printed for Revenge of the Sith, Vader appears to break his 2-dimensional bonds to lash out with blazing saber, dramatically extending beyond the image border to enhance the 3-dimensional appearance of the artwork. This cold-cast resin sculpture measures approximately 4" x 6" and is the seventh in this fantastic series that allows you to appreciate Star Wars poster artwork in a whole new way

Japanese Art of Star Wars Exhibit poster

Here is a rare opportunity to own the striking poster used to promote the Art of Star Wars exhibit in Japan, which was hosted by the Kyoto National Museum between June and August, 2003. Although mostly in Japanese, the image comes from a little-known 1983 photo shoot that featured Lucas among a virtual sea of Star Wars props and models from the Lucasfilm Archive. Replaced by C-3PO in the poster, the image remains a visual stunner that will have fans scrutinizing every square inch. Measures approximately 20"x29".

Hardcover: The Star Wars Poster Book (Signed by both Authors)

One of the very first Star Wars posters had no images at all--just enormous block letters that announced, "Coming to Your Galaxy This Summer: Star Wars." The rest is history. Now, 28 years later, the 350 most amazing Star Wars movie posters are collected for the first time. This compilation spans the surreal to ultra realistic, the campy to darkly serious: Darth Vader's head exploding in a shower of camera parts; Anakin Skywalker casting an ominous Sith shadow; C-3PO and R2-D2 selling Star Wars shoes; Luke and Vader in mortal battle aboard the Death Star. Classic posters are joined with text by the world's foremost Star Wars collector, Stephen Sansweet, and poster collector Peter Vilmur, behind-the-scenes stories from artists and designers, a scarcity guide to over 2,000 posters, and a bootleg identification guide. Exploding with color, The Star Wars Poster Book illuminates an unexplored corner of Star Wars history. 320 pages. Exclusively signed by both authors only here.
